Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 July 2026

These terms cover your purchase and use of Minutehand, a macOS application made by TWO Design ("we"). They're short, because the arrangement is simple: you buy a licence, the app is yours to use, and your data stays yours.

Your licence

Buying Minutehand gets you a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to install and use the app on up to two Macs you own or control, for any personal or commercial purpose. The licence is tied to your licence key and isn't transferable or resellable. Don't share your key publicly, reverse-engineer the app, or use it to break the law — that's the whole list.

Purchases & refunds

Purchases are processed by Polar, our merchant of record; your payment is subject to their checkout terms. If Minutehand isn't for you, you have 7 days for a full refund, no questions asked — see the refund policy. A refund deactivates your licence key.

Third-party services

Minutehand works with services you connect under your own accounts: Deepgram (transcription, under your API key and Deepgram's terms) and Google Calendar (read-only, under Google's terms). We're not a party to those relationships, don't bill for them, and aren't responsible for their availability or pricing. Recording meetings may require the consent of other participants depending on where you live — that's your responsibility, not something an app can judge for you.

Updates & support

Your purchase includes the app as it is today plus any updates we release for the current major version. We aim to answer support email quickly, but Minutehand is built by a small studio, not a call centre. Contact: support@minutehand-app.com.

No warranty, sensible limits

Minutehand is provided "as is". We've built it carefully, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (a missed recording, a mangled transcript). Our total liability for anything arising from these terms is capped at what you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

Changes & governing law

If these terms change, the date above changes with it; material changes will be noted on this site. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes belong to the courts of Goa, India.
